I am unlearning everything I learned in my first fifty years. It's OK to slow down and break a few rules. Perfection is really an illusion. I am playing more. A messy sewing area is a sign of creativity. There are worse addictions than fabrics. When my honey fusses about my "creativity" or my fabric purchases, I fluff him up with a new pair of home made boxers. It works! Another trick is to get him involved in my quilt projects by helping to chose colors. He is wonderful at ripping foundation material off when I do machine applique. Actually, my man fox rarely complains. It is so nice to be still totally in love with my Mr. Fox at this age!
