This inner animal of mine is:

Awkward yet Elegant

Aloof yet Loving

Colourful but Camouflaged

Striped yet spotty!

She is similar yet different to so many other Beasts of the World.

A Solitary yet Social Creature

Always occupied but is known to hibernate.

Domesticated but just a little wild

Nocturnal yet frequently seen during the day!

Dances to the beat of her own drum

Is given to flights of fantasy.

Her name is Sui Generis and she see’s the world through different coloured eyes; one blue and one green.

Raw edge appliqué onto vintage scarf; hand dyed silks and found fabrics including sari fabrics. Hand quilted and embroidered. Binding consists of hand stitched vintage bark cloth; sari fabric, hand-dyed commercially printed cotton and silk, novelty yarns

I love the imagery you have created with this lovely imaginary creature Sue.  What a fun piece.  Your hand quilting and embroidery are beautiful.
