Quilt name "Cheetah Girl." This 8.5" x 11" quilt is a fantasy of me as a Cheetah in the wild.  I had the pleasure of being able to sit with a live cheetah named Ganzi on a trip to wild animal reserve in South Africa last year. That experience was one of the thrills of my life.

Techniques - Ink painted image  on cotton fabrics with Tsenkineko Paints; thread painting on same with gold foiled paper stiched as garment. Glitter used for embellishments on hair tufts.
