I was collecting
ferns from my garden to sun print on fabric and discovered a toad sitting there
taking in the sunshine. I thought ‘What
a serene life, basking in the sun and tending to the garden by eating
slugs.’ She has been there for a few
years now and may stay for many more.
Toads can live up to 40 years!
