It didn’t take me
long to decide that my “inner animal” is a Desert (Pack) Rat. I’ve been telling
people that I am a “desert rat” for years. I love the desert, and since I
am lucky enough to live in Tucson Arizona, I get to enjoy the Sonoran
Desert every day, as well as hiking
and camping all over the deserts of the western USA. Pack rats are famous for
their stashes, middens, which can be built up over many years. As a quilter, I
have been happily collecting my stash over the years, and freely admit to
hoarding some of my favorite fabrics, beads, fibers….
