My entry, "Kraken II", is my inner animal, the
Octopus. You may think I'm nuts when I say I'm seeing squids and octopuses
everywhere in the media. I have decided
to embrace all eight arms and enjoy their inspiration for designs this year.
This design started out as a 2 inch high "cartoon"
doodled while on the phone, which I then
enlarged. I enjoyed embellishing this
guy's watery home with yarn, needlefelting, beads, and a vintage button for an
eye.
