I chose to be a butterfly even though it is quite common
because it fits me well.
I come to life when the sun shines. I yearn to fly high
and experience life in all its glory. Staying too long anywhere is difficult. A
flower garden is my favorite place. Bright colours attract me. I am a
butterfly. My caterpillar days ended
when I left the daily work grind and made time for leisure and for me travel,
gardening and quilting. Wearable art is
my butterfly cloak.

cotton with Setacolor and Jacquard paints. It was then thread painted and
beaded. The wings are organza and Angelina with cotton trim.
