Wow!  Great Faces!  Just needs some earrings and maybe a "necklace" or a suggestion of a necklace!  I personally would love to have her (I would name her Sybil) watching over me!  ;)

I love the idea of a whole face and your use of different techniques in each quarter.  My suggestion would be to add some depth to the piece perhaps with threadwork and other embellishments.  Good luck!  Lynne

What a great project and the results are just wonderful!  Very interesting piece and really fun.  I do hope you finish it and post it when it's done.  Yes, maybe a bit of quilting and a few simple embellishments but really....it's great!  

Since I'm pretty sure you started this piece in my art quilt class, I had to let you know what a great job you did!   I had done a couple of these "fractured faces" and realized how much fun it was, so I created the class for people who felt that making an art quilt was a daunting task.  I am thrilled at the creativity my students use and the fun they have doing it. 

I would  bind this piece with with some of the bright colors used in the body of it.  Embellish away!  Have a great time and thank you for giving me a chance to see your delightful piece.

She's a charmer for sure! I would stipple the background quite closely and then add coulourful double or triple deckle-cut borders.

For years I have tried to get my quilt group to do each of our faces but no one wanted to try.  Guess I'll just do my own although I like the idea of doing each other and cutting them up.  I did do one of my niece who has wild long curly red hair that was really fun to do in batiks.  I love it!
