This is another piece made using the "Impressionistic Style Art Quilting" - this one I wanted to look less like a landscape view and more like a closeup of flower blossoms.
This is created using chopped up bits of fabric on batting under a layer of tulle, which is then free-motion stitched using clear thread. The chopped up fabrics are hand-dyed fabrics, batiks, recycled old projects, recycled chopped up clothing - basically anything that was fabric, and purple, in my house - wasn't safe!! ; ) I used purple tulle on this one, to add to the overall purple shades of the pillow, instead of black as in my other piece. It is finished with piping trim made with hand-dyed batik fabric.
Thanks for looking! : )
