A Mosaic Life

This quilt was inspired by the acticle in Quilting Arts called Color Play by Anne Lullie.  I was asked to make a quilt that reflected life and all of it's different routes,  I suggested a mosaic.  For the chips I used Cherry Wood hand dyes, the background, backing and binding I dyed myself.  I free motion quilted over the entire quilt using invisilbe thread so the mosaic could speak for it self, the quilting only lends texture.

I see a bucking bull (head going toward the lower right hand corner)

in a ring.....with people in the background. See it? I have crazy imagination. Thanks for engaging me with this lovely piece.
