This portrait I found a little more difficult to end because of the fabrics I had chosen, the background had not enough contrast...so I changed it, and this time it stands out better. The trouble is I don't want to use the same fabrics for each portrait ! So, let me introduce my 2nd grandson (Joaquim's son) who will be 6 years old this year !

Hi there!

What a beautiful boy! The use of the chosen fabrics shows us the soft skin of young children. The fabric choise makes it look like embroidery!

And then the hair! So awesome.  Its almost as if the shadow of the background is glowing on him, Congratulations with this piece of art!

Greetings from Holland.

Thanks a lot, Anneke ! it's really interesting to receive your opinion as I appreciate a lot what you do, too ! I'm happy to see that in the Quilting Arts community people like my work. Here, I'm a bit lost and far from exhibitions and artistic textile art.

He is a really lovely boy, with those eyes. You did a great job, Josette. I love the green colours.
