This is a healing quilt. I worked on it off and on for about two years after my 12 year old son died. The quote, "He fought the good fight..." is written as part of the border.
It's a beautiful piece. I can't imagine anything more heart breaking that what you have survived losing your child. What a precious way to grieve. Something really powerful and beautiful has come from your grieving with fabric and a needle.
