Up the Cudgery Road

I made this for a really lovely woman I met in Australia recently, we were driving along the Cudgery Rd and she stopped the car and said "look at that wonderful view", I took a photo because I could see the quilt I was already going to make. The mountains really are this colour when you see them in the distance.

Thanks everyone, it is good to give pieces of work away to special people, this goes off to Australia this week and I will look forward to Marianne's reaction - she was very kind to me, and has been to my daughter.

I love this quilt . Last year I took some time off work and went to Radium Hot Springs in B.C. My friend and I just love the scenery around there. Of course I took a lot of pictures and now I'm working on a few small quilts. Most of my work goes to friends as presents. One goes out by the end of May to the friend I went to see in Invermere B.C. Keep up the good work.
