For this quilt, I broke loose of exhaustive old planing bounds and proceeded step by step. I first made different backgrounds with words (of the title Les vrilles de la vigne) and rubbings with a grid found on a construction site. I then drew my bird and added branches. I quilted and then colored my nightingale. I used commercial fabrics and batiks, fabric markers, Paintstiks rubbed and applied after quilting. My panel is machine-quilted.
