For this I used monoprinted fabric. I used tyvak for the first time. That is really fun stuff. I painted it after I had melted it. I usully don't have a plan as I set out. I just see what comes out of it and then put something together. I guess the hardest thing is having a plan and then trying to achieve it, but that is probably also the most frustrating, when you cannot get it the way you want. The way I work I don't have any UFO's because I can keep changing the piece until I think it is nice.

Another great piece to look at this morning.  Meta, I really like the texture you get in the circle.  Is that the tyvak?

Hi Debbie,

Yes, that is tyvak. It is really fun stuff. You put it between parchment paper and then hover the iron above it. It then shrivels up.
