Hello Maria,

This is a quilt to read! You visualized what she's reading. I think making it, was just as fun as to look at it!

Greetings from Anneke!

Maria,
If you ever decide to make Captivated into a large poster to sell, I already have one librarian that is a buyer.  Have you thought of doing this?  I imagine you could sell a LOT of them (every library in the world?)  :?}
I am in love with that quilt...
Very Sincerely,
Lindy

Waouh, I do love this quilt and its "apparent" simplicty ! the construction, the details,the color combination, the pieced blocks...everything is remarkable!

I have always wanted to learn how to make faces for quilts but never knew how - are there books or links in how to create such wonderful beauty? Looking at this work of art makes my heart soar and I want so much to learn how.

Thanks, Redhawk! I filmed a DVD workshop for QuiltingArts called "Making Faces." It teaches how to make portraits. You can find it here: http://www.interweavestore.com/Quilting/DVDs-Videos/Making-Faces.html
