Challenge: Flavor of the Month

The taste of hamburgers reminds me of our summer months when BBQ season is in full swing in the Puget Sound. Our family’s favorite hamburgers are flame roasted over an open alder wood fire in the backyard. The alder smoke gives the burger a unique, rich, juicy flavor. Add fries, and the summer meal is complete.
