 2 peas in a pod

The flavor of peas always reminds me of the freshness of the beginning of summer.  I would sneak into my uncles garden slink down the rows of veges and shell and eat the peas straight off the plants.   They tasted so good until the guilt would drive me to confess!

This piece of work in made from 100% Cotton fabric,  Polyester batting,  textile paints,  poly sheen threads,  paint sticks,  inktense pencils,  crayons and colored pencils.  It is hand painted and machine quilted.

Wow.  I've been painting in watercolor for a long time but this is making me itch to try an art quilt!

Oh, my... another fine piece... even if I hadn't seen the name I would have known this was your work after seeing the previous piece.  Your way with colours and thread is remarkable.
