Batik Woven Sunflower

Strips of batiks woven beginning from a corner with no particular order of color or pattern. Some ended up curved and some straight. All the raw edges are sewn down with a zigzag stitching and buttons that coordinate with the threading are sewn around the edging. This was my first complete wall hanging which is a feat for my short attention span!

Way cool!  The largest portion of my stash is dedicated to batiks, and I would like to play with them by weaving such as you have done.  Neat color interplay.
