Manistique Lighthouse is located in Manistique, Michigan.  For this quilt I free form cut the boulders on the walk way out to the lighthouse.  The light for the lighthouse is a large Swarovski crystal.  The large seagull is three dimensional.  The beach has small agates, shells and driftwood I collected from the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior.

Peggy, good to see your work again.  Hope all is well in Michigan.  We are sweltering in this summer heat.  Thank goodness for AC and swimming pools!  Good work, really like extending into the borders.  Debbie

Hi Deborah,  We will be in the low 80's today, no air conditioning....this is the payoff for shoveling snow in the winter!!  I originally made this lighthouse quilt for my December show.....but, it sold on Etsy, so I made it again from a different angle, so it is also an original.  Stay indoors and work on a quilt.....can't wait to see your next creation!! Peggy
