20x14"  2010  This is the second of my new figurative series.  It was recently juried into the 2010 National Small Quilt  Works Exhibition at theMain Street Gallery in Groton, NY and will be on display July 24-Sept.4, 2010.  I used many techniques including needle felting, collage, hand embroidery, beading and quilting.  www.christinesauer.com

LOVE your use of lots of yummy details! I'm glad that you got into that show. I was never able to download their PDF file form the web site. Working small, I think, offers a lot of compositional challenges that aren't there when you have a much larger piece of fabric to spread out on. You've done a great job of taking advantage of of the surface and making every inch count,
