hibiscus painted and machine appliqued, beaded

This was commissioned quilt - the customer requested flowers, but left it up to me to pick the flower.  The Hibiscus seem to be perfect,  I hand painted each petal and leaf separately . I used metalic thread then I  appliqued it all the background piece.  The stamen was appliqued and beaded.  Fun time.....

This is so gorgeous,  I love the colors.  Really special with the metalic thread & bead work.
