A whole cloth quilt, fabric painted and machine quilted.
A joint project from Elizabeth (granddaughter, 8 years) and my self. Elizabeth did the original fabric painting and some brown paint leaked onto her painting. So I helped to define things a bit and fix the mistake

What mistake!  I think it was a happy accident especially when it becomes a project with Grandma.  This is beautiful.  Hey, Elizabeth...can I adopt your Grandma?  I'd like to be able to do this too!  lol

beautiful art work. I,m just wondering how long it took to finish. I spent one year on a pirate blanket.

Thank you both for the praise, the wall quilt and granddaughter are both at home in Atlanta and I am back at home in NM.

The quilt is not very big (approximately 15X18"). It only took me about 3 days to actually turn the original fabric painting into the wall quilt with quilting. I do have a tendency to work fairly fast but my pieces usually not very big. That is one thing I need to work on :), my stitching is another.

I am glad that Elizabeth enjoys some of the things I do and wants to help me do them. At least until Teen-angst hits. lol

By the way joesmom101, I would love to see your Pirate blanket.
