This one was hand dyed with monoprinting and I dragged combs of thickened dye over the surface. Then I painted on the tree branch. I thread painted the branch and leaves, added extra batting behind the bird for dimention, and the nest and egg are paper glued to the surface, then sewn.

I love the bird!  I just read that you added extra batting for it... that must be why it looks so wonderful!
