This was my second quilt to make. It is 45"X52". I got this pattern from 24-Hour baby Quilts. It definitely took me more than 24 hours to make and I had a great time learning and practicing. I had already learned piecing and on this quilt I got to practice it a lot. I fussy cut the bugs. Pieced the frames around the bugs. Then I put the triangles together to make the pinwheels. I love this collection. It is Jitterbugz by BlankQuilting. I'm new and the fabric had been out for awhile so I had to really call around to over 30 stores before I found the patterns and colors I wanted. It was well worth it. I hand stitched around  the yellow pinwheels and the frames of the bugs and then I made little curls coming out from behind the bugs like they were buzzing around.  I think my granddaughter Jillian will enjoy this quilt for a very long time.
