This piece is fused, then machine stitched with a variety of free motion ideas.  I used fabric markers for some of the vine details, and a watercolor crayon in white for the reflection on the grapes.  The border was black and white fabric and I "painted" in the white areas with fabric markers in colors that matched the background.  I was hoping it would look like cut metal.  I finished it using Melody Johnson's Escape Hatch finish and I like the way it came out.  It is 12x14.

I love the grapes motiff, these looks very similar to a 12x12 quilt I made for the SAQA auction last year.  My grapes and leaves were dimensional.
