kalidescope dreamcatcher finished

I think I started handquilting this on the 24 of Oct and here it is all finished and done, I had a lot of doubt about it but wanted to do it anyway and so far everyone here loves it , It is a horse of a differant color and may not appeal to everyone, It is my attempt at using a kalidescope to make a indian dreamcatcher, it has reverse appliqued words on the border

That's a fantastic use of the method that is a little different than others I've seen and makes a real artistic statement.  Kudos!

Great use of color. Is the kalidescope pieced or painted? I'd love to see a detail shot....:)
