Reversible Patchwork Tote as seen on Quilting Arts TV Episode 601

Episode 601: Project 601-2

I can’t throw anything away, not even the most itty bitty, tiniest sliver of fabric. I keep my scraps in large plastic bags, and the day I noticed I had accumulated so many of them, I knew it was time to start using them up. That’s when I came up with an idea to make a reversible patchwork tote. This tote can be made with two distinct patchwork designs for each side, as I did; or you can use patchwork for just one side and a single piece of fabric for the reverse side; or, you may elect to use a single piece of fabric for both sides. It’s up to you! And by using the grommets to loop one long strap through, the construction is a cinch!

I would  also like to have directions for Reversible Tote  seen on   Quilting Arts TV Episode 601----just love this bag. i have a LOT of scraps that are just waiting to be used.

I see two others have asked for the directions. Are there written instructions? Also, I thought the episode showed how to box the corners, so they're not sticking straight out, but the sample shown is not like that. Please provide written instructions. Thanks much! annmariehome@aol.com

I too have lots of scraps and partial blocks, just waiting for creative use in projects such as this one.  I watched the episode several times, yet still have questions on construction.

I would also like to have the instructions for the reversible tote, project 601-2.  I taped the episode on TV but when I saw that the instructions were available on your web-site, I deleted the episode.  Now I find that there are no intsructions, only a template.  HELP.

I love this pattern and can't wait to make more of them! The next one I make will be smaller. Installing the grommets is fun and they add a professional touch. I also added a flap to go over the opening and used a large decorative button for the closure. This purse builds on the instructions that come with the Windsor Market Tote--both shown on the same show.

The episode 601 has just aired on TV again here in New Zealand, and I have made up the body the the reversable bag, but cannot purchase in NZ Snap-on Grommets.  Can you advise where to purchase so I can contact and get some sent to me here.  Great shows.  I watch them over and over. Janice
