It is amazing how a quilt can dictate its changes and progress! This is my UFO all grown up... (I will have to take off both side bindings and square it up-again! How can a person square up the art, square up the batting, square up the backing, and still get the wobblies?!)  Oh, well. I love how it turned out, so I will un-sew and re-sew some evening watching TV.

Thanks for all your help, everybody!

I like that you added the pines to draw my eye in.  Instead of swirling fog it I see a blowing blizzard - I rather like it!  Very different!  I am anxious to see it when it is finished.

I like it.  I think the changes you made were an improvement.  I'm just wondering if it is too much mist.  this is going to look great when finished.

Thank you for your comments! When I read kehenich's vision of blizzard instead of fog I determined to remove more layers of cotton. I want this piece to be tranquil/mysterious, seashore-like. But I will remember the blizzard on a winter piece sometime. ">}

Then Barbara confirmed, too much fog...

I do thank you, and will continue to play!

Looks wonderful!  Even better after fixing the wobblies.  Fabric has its own idea of what it wants to do.  Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, once again, Barbara!  And the secret to the perfect misty fog floating about? Hair shed from our Himalayan cat! First productive thing he has done in his entire 13 years of life! :?}
