Buddha and Banyan Leaves1

I painted and stamped the green background fabric. The Buddha image is from a photo I took of a wooden carving. The border is from a silk sarong I bought in Vietnam. The images of temples above the Buddha were made with Shiva paintstiks. The various pieces were fused on, the borders sewed on, and then it was all machine- quilted. Lastly, some beads were sewn on.
