I love playing with lots of different fibers and metal together and making ATC/Post Cards is my favorite way to try out new techniques/combinations. I've just started playing with this sheet copper. It's so fun to see what happens when you heat it up. The colors are so pretty to me and I love how I can pretty much sew/emboss what ever with it. A really fun new thing.

Wow...sheet copper...it would be so much easier to use than cutting open the pop/beer cans. Thanks for showing your work with the copper and for lighting a spark in my head.  I just recently bought the 'easy start' propane heater, but haven't spotted sheet copper in my snoopings. Today I will be on my way to the hardware store and then I can start working on an idea I have carried in my head for a few years.

Enid, you can find the craft grade of copper sheeting at craft or art supply stores, or at www.basiccopper.com.  Have fun!

Today I was frustrated re my search for copper sheeting in this city, and realized I would have to go further afield.  Before heading for bed tonight, I thought I would email  you for suggestions, but you beat me to it.  Thanks for reading my mind and sending a reply before I began searching for you on the internet.

The past 2 years I have been concentrating on house renovations and  that has been my art work. Thankfully  I am almost finished in that area, and my bones are beginning to itch to get creating with fabric, metals, etc, etc. again.  I am getting excited about unleashing all the ideas in my head and digging in again. Think I have enough ideas to last me for the next 897 years!
