Applique Sunflowers, Sunset

This is an original hand painted silk appliqued art quilt. The sunflowers & the petals were all individually painted and then appliqued onto the quilt. I used thread painting to add further details. Machine free motion quilting was used to create pattern and the "sunset" at the bottom left of quilt.

Really special.  They are so uniquely presented...bright blue skies with the brilliant sunflower in the lower left corner .

I just posted a sunflower piece that I did!  This one is absolutely beautiful and I truly love it.  The flowers look so realistic and believable!  Very nice job.
