I made this piece on special order a few years ago. This was my first attempt at using cloth to re-create a building. I took photos, then enlarged them on a copier and cut one of the enlargements up into pattern pieces for the project. I used embroidery for the finer details. I also used a small amount of paint for the scene in the restaurant window. This project was 100% hand sewn.
