I used procion dyed fabrics which I altered with copper fabric paint, discharge. I used stamped steam a seam and a lot of hand stitching.

Let me add that I'm sick and feeling in all ways vulnerable and seeing this intuitively reminded me to be encouraged.

While the background is so much darker than the figures, there's a lot of rich detail going on there. I'd love to hear the story behind the piece and see a detail shot.
