Bluebonnet Hill

I started with giblets of fabric on top of 70 wt pellon, then tulle on top to hold them in place.  Finally, I thread painted the details.  Hanging in the Copper Shade Tree gallery in Round Top, TX.  16"x20".

Really spectacular ,  I thought from the moment  I read "bluebonnets",  this quilter has to be  from Texas..  I love it.

Thanks for the compliments!  I was notified last night that it SOLD.  It now lives with a nice family in San Antonio.
