Three times the inspiration!

On "Quilting Arts TV" Series 300, host Pokey Bolton and her guests teach you techniques and tricks for free-motion stitching, art quilting, fabric stamping and stenciling, fiber collage, stitching with sheers and organzas, and mixed-media home decor. Also covered are art and design concepts, using quilting to raise environmental awareness, how to incorporate stitch into all areas of your life, and more.

Projects include a colorful purse that combines sheer fabrics and free-motion stitching, a table runner, journal quilts, mixed-media collages, creating fabric with paint and vegetable prints, 3-D fabric ornaments, embellishing vintage aprons, and many others. Plus, in this series, we taped on location at the International Quilt Festival/Chicago where we visited with some of our favorite art quilters who shared their tips and techniques for quilting. There is something for every art quilter, beginning or expert.

Series 300 features some of your favorite mixed-media artists and designers, including:

Frieda Anderson, Melissa Averinos, Karey Bresenhan, Hollis Chatelain, Debbi Crane, Joel Dewberry, Joyce Drexler, Anna Maria Horner, Lyric Kinard, Jane LaFazio, Laura Murray, Judy Coates Perez, Kelli Perkins, Virginia Spiegel, Marinda Stewart, Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero, Beryl Taylor, Melanie Testa, Laura Wasilowski, Kathy York, Darlene Zimmerman, And many others.

Where are the free directions as referred to on Quilting ARTs TV?  Many times Pokey will say, "and more complete directions will be up on our website?  But where?

Thank you

I not only agree with Ungila but I might add this is the most user unfriendly site I have ever seen. You give the series number at the end of your show and then I come on you website and there is no place to enter the specific show number of the series that you want to watch.   Regards

Everytime I go to your site, I look for the series you suggest and its never there.  What's up?  How do I get to series 304 or 306?

I was especially interested in the handpainted cotton batting.

Ungila and JMO, I found the directions for Melanie Testa's project here:

Kudo's I also have been looking for the show number 411- placemats. This drives me crazy. It takes up my sewing time to get on the web, only to get fustrated after being led all around the subject...

I agree with the site not being very user friendly... during the show I started to jot down notes for directions until Pokey said all the directions are on the web site so I did not complete notes as I thought I would watch the show and not have to concentrate on details as I could go to the web site and get them later... as of yet I can not find that show # 311 and now I have become frustrated.. my time is limited and it would be nice to have instructions for the show to be easier to access & find easy .. or do not advertise they will be on the web... I would have had them written down... otherwise... but now I do not have them...

The show is good and enjoy it very much a lot of details to remember...

Thanks

If there is anyone from Quilting Arts monitoring this site, PLEASE read all the comments below. In addition to having similar problems here myself, I can't even get the photos to come up.  Someone needs to check the site mechanics!

Hi,

I am sorry for the confusion.  The website that Pokey refers to on her show is www.quiltingartstv.com.    You will find the any directions promised from the show, show times in your area and more.  If you go to the website and sign in (it's free!) you will be able to access the directions.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks & Happy Thanksgiving!

On the show today, 5-22-2010 you showed little clutch purses.  I didn't realize that there was a number for this show so I just wrote down the web site and thought that I'd be able to find the directions to make the clutch.  Could you email as to how I get to the directions?

Thanks

I thought I was the only one who could not get to the instructions for the pretty purse. I have tried several times to get different patterns and was unable to get them.  Would you please make it more clear how to get them.  Thanks.  I watch every show and take lots od note ( Incase )
