Postcard sent to a friend.  She really misses the prairies and says these scenes make her cry.  ; )

Monika, may I ask how you got the sunshine/shadow effect? Looks just like what I have seen down in WA state's Palouse country.

Your work does convey 'feeling.' You must have that Van Gogh 'touch.' ;)

Monika--I am scrolling through this gallery for the first time and am constantly drawn to your landscapes.  I love your use of texture.  You are able to create depth and serenity.  Thanks for sharing.

Awe thank you everyone!  This is a really really close up of a very small space, and there's no tricks.  The sun was shining on it! ; )
