Finally Fall

The finally in the quilt's title is due to the fact that the woven portion was a scan of Japanese maple leaves from a loooonnnggg time ago, 10+ years! But after the wonderful artists on QA and all the knowledge and inspiration gained from this site I figured out how to take this orphan from the UFO pile to the TADAH! done pile. Yeah!

I love this piece - fall is my favorite time of year and the woven background is a perfect foil to the falling leaves.   Great job!  always a good thing to get one in the done pile, and I'd say it's the WELL done pile.
