Cherry Blossoms With Two Little Yellow Birds

This is an original hand painted silk art quilt. The background was hand painted separately, as were the branch, 2 little fluffy  birds and cherry blossoms. Then I used raw edge applique and thread painting.to attach the elements. and add more  detail... I quilted it in a free motion feather design, what else?

Beautiful work of art! I love that you thread-painted the litte birds - it makes them look "fluffy".  Your background quilting enhances the whole piece! Very inspiring!
