tick tock - fiber art, Fiber Post Card

This small fiber art piece was created with layers of fabrics, embossed copper and just a touch of tick tock. 

I've always enjoyed mixing hard and soft textures and in this piece are several of my favorite textures. I love copper and chasing it threw flame to coax the colors from it is always somewhat of a surprise.

After I enlarged your postcard as much as possible, it knocked my socks off!  Love the depth and the embossed copper with all its colors.

Thanks so much for your comments. I just love these small pieces. You can do so much with them. I love working with mixed media and adding 3D stuff to my art quilts. Clocks and watch parts is an obsession with me.
