The newest of my works!  This is made entirely out of batik fabrics and slick paint in the centers between the circles.

Did you use black slick paint for the "lead"?

Thank you everyone.  I use deep black cotton quilt fabric but you want a good quality fabric that cuts well on the bias (I used cheaper fabric which shredded when I tried to apply it).  The slick paint was used in the centers of the flowers and on areas where the leading overlapped, to help secure those areas really well.  The slick paint was a success as it worked great and I will be using it on future pieces.
