This was my first attempt at an art quilt, a picture I took of my cat was the inspiration for this little 12" x 12" quilt, and my backyard was the inspiration for the background. This has applique, thread art and painting.
This is so adorable & typical. We have a "Calico" cat ( from somewhere ) in the neighborhood..that visits daily. Beautiful colors & well done with the calico colors.
I can't believe this is your first art quilt! You did a great job with it, it caught my eye real quik.
