Not sure if this is stitching or needlefelting but either way - stellar job of shading and use of colour! Fabulous.

Thanks! It is needle felted by hand with a single needle. Wool and silk with embellishments of beads on the pear, lily and eggplant.

Gorgeous felting work - at first glance I thought it was an embellished photo printed on fabric.  Beautiful!
