I think I have posted other butterfly rose pictures! I just love this rose bush in my yard and I take lots of photos of it. This time I am using much larger pieces of fabric to make my picture. I made the roses first and used a glue stick to keep them together. I used gel pens for high and low lights, also, fabric markers. Next, I chose the light and dark background fabric and then put the stems on it with glue sticks. Next came the leaves and the final layer was sheers like organdy. I covered it all with black tulle and quilted with invisible thread. The image is 8x10 double matted to 11x14. Check my blog www.debbiegeistweidt.blogspot.com.
