This hand painted fabric using Lumiere as a first coat and then Setacolor Transparents. Quilted with Sulky Blendables and stitched onto a piece of ph neutral mat board.
Beautiful! I love the colors and the leaves. Is it bound? Hard to tell from photo. Did stitching onto mat board work well?
Thank you. I am drawn to autumn colors and use them alot.
It is not bound. I made a sandwich of two pieces of musln and batting and 'birthed' it, then stitched the fabric on top and quilted it. I often find that the colors are the most interesting at the edges and hate to turn them under.
