From May until the cooler days of September, many different species of nature's jewels - mayflies and dragonflies - are attracted to the natural pond in our yard. 

Textiva, layered and fused organza and acrylic felt, melted with heat gun and soldering iron. Metallic thread, free motion machine embroidery.

The technique is soooooooooo exciting !  Beautiful quilting and embelishment   the deep colors mike look soooo rich.... love it.
