This quilt was a present to my niece, Emma, at her college graduation.  The center motif is a drawing made from a photo of Camp Ondessonk, in southern Illinois.  It is one of her (and her family's) favorite places on earth.  It was hand painted on whole cloth cotton muslin and some machine thread painting done on the path.  Surrounding it are hand painted trees, tents, streams, etc., with a batik patchwork border.  Heavy machine quilting throughout.  45"X60" She was recently married, at camp, with the quilt in the background.
