I recently took a class in design, with the result of turning my flannel design board into a quilt! I do nature scenes, not geometrics, so this was a step outside my comfort zone. The flannel is a commercial tie-dye, the rest of the fabrics are my hand dyes. Satin stitched everything down with variegated, metalic or glossy threads.
