"Spring Song" • 17" x 16"
Sophie: "My UFO is a piece with the warp a cotton print
with letters and words on it. The weft is a piece of hand-painted silk fabric.
I cannot seem to come up with something in word or letter category to complete
the canvas, help!"
Cindi: "Upon receiving the UFO it immediately conjured up
thoughts of spring. It seemed light and airy with floral colors. Most of the
fabrics used were commercial cottons, but the bird itself is from a piece I
hand painted. Also the nest and some of the branches have sparkle from a gold
metallic with a Shiva® Paintstik®."
