"A View of Cape May" • 16" x 15"

Patricia: "I painted the fabrics in this UFO with Jacquard® textile paints. I think I had started a landscape, but the piece got put aside and now I can't remember what my plan was. Apparently I fused the painted fabrics to flannel in lieu of adding batting."

Pat: "Since I live about an hour north of Cape May I often drive down and walk on the beach. The glass for this piece was collected on one of my recent walks. The light house was recently restored and is open to the public. It sits in a state park at Cape May Point."

Feels like the beach to me too.  Good transition.  Love the bubble quilting.

Oh my gosh---you did magic on a little bit of nothing! If I fuse a couple of pieces of fabric together will you send me back a work of art??? Love the bubbles too!
